At Faith Covenant, the centrality of the Word of God is one of our Healthy Missional Markers, as well as one of our Core Values. All our values come from what we discern from the Word of God.
Current Sunday Adult Discipleship Study: 1 Corinthians
This class will begin on September 20, 2026
After Jesus’ death, resurrection, and ascension, Paul wrote a series of pastoral letters to
the mainly Gentile church he had founded in the Greek city of Corinth. The
Church in Corinth had great gifts—and serious problems, including spiritual
immaturity and instability, divisions and disunity, marital difficulties and
sexual immorality, pride and the misuse of spiritual gifts. In the sovereign
wisdom of God, two of these letters are preserved for us in the Bible. We need
them because the Church faces these same problems today. Paul’s warning,
teaching, and exhortation are for us.
Join us this Fall for a verse-by-verse discussion of 1 Corinthians, designed to help us
learn and apply God’s Word together. In the winter 2027, we will cover 2 Corinthians.

Gentlemen,
You are invited to join the IronMen Small Group as we begin our Fall Session. We will be studying the book The Reason for God: Belief in the Age of Skepticism, by Timothy Keller.
From the book jacket: Timothy Keller, the founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, addresses the frequent doubts that skeptics, and even ardent believers, have about religion. Using literature, philosophy, real life conversations, and potent reasoning, Keller explains how the belief in a Christian God is, in fact, a sound and rational one. To true believers he offers a solid platform on which to stand their ground against the backlash to religion created by the Age of Skepticism. And to skeptics, atheists, and agnostics, he provides a challenging argument for pursuing the reason for God.
The books and sign-up sheet are located in the Welcome Center under the TV monitor. The cost of the books are $10, payable to Dave Tomashewski.

About the Men's Ministry Group:
The Men's Ministry at Faith Covenant is dedicated to helping men chase after God in faith, action, and mind. They often lead improvement projects around the church, as well as undertake the immense job of putting the Christmas lights on our Community Christmas Tree and church building and helping older church members with difficult home projects.
